Season O’Sex: Miss Dee Twenty on Charity Fundraising Shows, Friend Crushes, & Victory Burgers!

Those who know me know that I love nothing more than a good nerdy pun.

And I do believe that Miss Dee Twenty might have one of the best of them all!

The Season O’Sex is starting to wrap up, so I knew I wanted to make sure that Miss Dee came on the show to give us an insight into her world of supporting intersectional feminist issues through performance, how burlesque continually helps her discover herself and her sexuality, compartmentalizing and balancing burly life with muggle life, and tons more.

Listen in below, then have a look at all the links to keep up with Miss Dee on her burlesque journey!

(Don’t forget, if you’re loving BSD and the Season O’Sex, you can help out the show by joining the Posse, supporting on Patreon, sharing with your friends, and subscribing on iTunes/Android/Stitcher/Google Play/ALLTHETHINGS.)

Miss Dee is one of the founding members of Ghost Light Vaudeville Society and currently sits on the board as the Executive Director.

As the Season O'Sex winds down, Vancouver's Miss Dee Twenty joins Velvet for a chat all about nerdy names, fundraising for intersectional feminist charities, friend crushes, balancing burly life with muggle life, half & half acts, victory burgers, & more!Dee is also proud to be a member of both the Geekenders and the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society. She is a podcaster, a dungeon master, a cosplayer, a writer, and an up-in-coming comedic neo-burlesque performer who has appeared many sexy and nerdy events across Vancouver. One of her favourite things in the world is volunteering and helping local charities and nonprofits, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. In her off time, Dee enjoys reading dirty dirty fan fiction to large audiences and fighting the patriarchy.
